At the Foundation for Rebuilding Childhood (FRC), we believe every child in India deserves joy, safety, and the chance to dream. But too many are denied this because of poverty, inequality, and limited access to education.
Empowering local champions can open up more opportunities for every child. Grassroots leaders are central to change and often lack the tools, networks, and support to reach their full potential.
That is why FRC goes beyond funding, we become true partners.
We work closely with local groups by:
- Giving them the freedom to use funds where they’re needed most
- Providing guidance and support from experienced mentors
- Building their skills and strength over many years.
Ensuring that we create stronger futures for children and young people across India.
What we do:
- Help kids get a fair chance at education and learning
- Create safe spaces to help children and teenagers learn and grow
- Provide flexible funding support to local groups that teach in fun, creative ways
- Build capacities of these local groups and leaders to continue their work with children and teenagers

You can fund ONE organisation’s workshop experience.
And with ₹10,000
You can help provide materials for FIVE organisations.
2. BECOME AN AMBASSADOR OF CHANGE
Mobilise your network to support India’s future. If you have a busy work schedule or are still a college student, you can choose any or all of the following activities:
1. Organise small campus or workplace fundraisers
2. Share awareness through WhatsApp groups.
3. Share our campaign or create your own digital campaigns to support India’s youth and children who need your support.
4. Rally your colleagues, friends or classmates around a shared cause! Turn your workplace into a force for good with the “5x Motivator”! How it works:
- Pick any amount you want to donate
- Motivate 5 colleagues to match your total by contributing equally
- They can then motivate 5 more people each
Example: You donate ₹1,000 → Find 5 friends who donate ₹200 each → They each find 5 more donors
The result: Your ₹1,000 becomes ₹6,000+ and creates a ripple effect across your entire workplace or network!
3. VOLUNTEER
- Volunteer Your Time: Work directly with grassroots organisations to mentor youth, assist in programs, or support operations.
- Offer Professional Skills: Contribute expertise in areas like communications, accounting, organisational development, fundraising, education, or strategy to strengthen organisations. Help design or facilitate workshops, training sessions, or mentorship programs for grassroots leaders and staff.
