Who we are
Our Mission and Vision
Mission: FRC invests in courageous, nascent community-based organisations with bold ideas to address intersectional social issues that meet the needs of children and youth in India and engage them as future leaders.
Vision: FRC envisions a future where all children and youth in India have access to equal resources and opportunities in society, and live free from violence, discrimination, and exploitation.
Our History
Foundation for Rebuilding Childhood (FRC) commenced operations in India in 2018, recognising a critical need to advance the rights and opportunities of children and youth by helping create a society that enables all children to live free from violence, discrimination, and exploitation.
By establishing local operations, FRC has over the last few years supported early-stage child-centred community-based organisations by providing them with access to financial and technical resources.
We have partnered with organizations across Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh to help advance the rights of children.
Our partners work to address specific community challenges such as gender-based violence, youth employability, access to quality education for girls, and access to education for children who have never before attended school.
Our Team
Commitment to Safeguarding
FRC partners with community-based organizations around the world to help children and youth reach their full potential and advance their rights. We are deeply committed to protecting those most at risk and to acting as a role model for child and youth-serving organizations.
